These shots were taken in and near Marysville, which was nearly completely destroyed by the 2009 bush fires shows the aftermath. I just couldn’t bring myself to take too many shots of what was once a particularly beautiful little bush town.

Normally these trees would have already sprouted along the trunk. This time they've been burned too badly
