Nicole and I both did driver training through the Pajero Club of Victoria. The training is undertaken at the Mount Cotrell training and test site near Werribee, Victoria. This site is used by the automotive industry, police 4WD drivers and others, in addition to 4WD clubs. These photos where taken during both our training sessions, which we did at different times. It was dry for me but Nicole had a damp course to contend with.
We get a small feel for sand driving on a short course made with river sand. It's just enough to learn basic principles
The articulation course is designed to demonstrate driving on less than 4 wheels...
... as well as how solid the car is when it's on an angle, which is a bit scary when you're inside the car doing this for the first time
The hill! We were only using the left hand pair of tracks because the others are too steep and dangerous for beginners

While we're doing one part of the course other groups are tackling different parts
There's a series of hillocks to give the feel of cresting a hill, where you're pretty much driving blind for a little while
